A two year old girl was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit and run in San Francisco Friday night, according to a San Francisco Police Department Public Information Officer.

At 10:37 p.m. the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Mission Street between 4th and 5th Streets when it hit the girl while she was in a crosswalk, the officer said.
A family member accompanied the child at the time of the hit and run.
The vehicle is described as a white mid-90s four-door sedan, either a Camry, Honda, or Lexus with a dark-colored mismatched front bumper and dark or black rums, according to the SFPD.
Anyone with information is asked to call SFPD. If the vehicle is seen on the road, witnesses should call 911. Anonymous tips can be made at 415-575-4444.
