A driver heading south on U.S. Highway 101 in Menlo Park struck members of a work crew this morning, killing one and injuring others, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 11:05 a.m. near the Marsh Road off-ramp from southbound Highway 101.
One person was killed, one suffered major injuries and another suffered moderate injuries in the crash, CHP officials said.
The far right lane southbound lane of the highway is closed this afternoon and CHP and fire officials are on the scene, according to the CHP.
