Suspects sought in San Jose fatal stabbing

San Jose Police are currently investigating a homicide that took place around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday morning in the area of Market Street and Park Avenue, police said.
Police received information about a person being physically attacked by five or six suspects in downtown San Jose. Upon arrival, officers found an adult man suffering from at least one stab wound.
He was pronounced dead a short time after being transported to the hospital, according to police.
The unidentified suspects involved are still at large.
The incident is San Jose’s 22nd homicide this year and does not appear to be gang related at this time, police said.
