Woman survives baseball bat attack

A 42-year-old woman was attacked in her car by two other women with a baseball bat and pepper spray in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Around 5:15 p.m., a 32-year-old and 28-year-old woman approached the victim sitting in her vehicle at Revere Avenue and Crisp Road, police said.

The first suspect punched the woman in her face and the woman got out of her car. The second suspect then hit the woman in the head with a baseball bat before spraying her in the face with pepper spray, according to police.

The woman was taken to a hospital with a cut to the back of her head. She is expected to survive her injuries, police said.

The suspects fled in a gray four-door vehicle and have not been caught as of Friday morning, according to police.
