The annual AIDS Walk will take place this Sunday in Golden Gate Park, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency said in a statement.
The 6.2 mile long route will be entirely within the park and will cause the north and south entrances of the park to be closed until 2 p.m.
Events begin with photography sessions at 8:35 a.m. and will conclude with a post walk concert beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Road closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., affecting JFK Drive, Transverse Drive, Middle Drive West, MLK Drive, Metson Road, and Bowling Green Drive.
The 44-O’Shaughnessy Muni route will be affected as well.
