Santa Rosa drug bust nets three

Three men were arrested during an investigation into narcotics sales in Santa Rosa on Wednesday morning, a police sergeant said.

Officers and detectives stopped a vehicle near Coddington Mall around 10:45 p.m. when they arrested Ranulfo Andres Salgado, 27, and Rogelio Solario Garibay, 50, both of Santa Rosa, Sgt. Michael Heiser said.

The officers then served search warrants at two apartments on Range Avenue and a home on Barbara Drive as part of the investigation. Custudio Lugo Delgado, 43, also of Santa Rosa, was arrested at the Barbara Drive residence.

Investigators seized 2.8 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.1 pounds of cocaine, 13.9 pounds of marijuana, 19 marijuana plants, $14,000 in cash and three vehicles. The methamphetamine uncovered had a street value of about $20,000, Heiser said.

Salgado was arrested on suspicion of four counts of possession of a controlled substance for sale, four counts of transportation of a controlled substance, drug dealing in a designated school zone and conspiracy. He had an outstanding felony warrant for narcotics sale in Santa Rosa from 2009.

Garibay was arrested on suspicion of transportation of a controlled substance, drug dealing in a designated school zone and conspiracy.

Delgado was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of narcotics for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, cultivation of marijuana and having a firearm during the commission of a felony.
