Frustrated robber aborts bank holdup

A man tried to rob a bank in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood Wednesday afternoon but gave up while waiting for the cash and fled, police said today.

The attempted robbery was reported at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday at a bank in the 1500 block of Polk Street.

The man, believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, entered the bank and slipped a demand note to a 52-year-old female teller, police said.

While waiting for the teller to return with the money, the suspect got frustrated and left the bank.

He has not been found as of this morning, police said.

No one was injured in the attempted robbery, according to police.

  • I think that this man is just desperate and very nervous. According to the even we can wait for two possible results. If he
really needs money, he can dare to make the other attempt to rob a bank or even something else. However there is still a possibility that he will just get so nervous and afraid that he will never try again. I think that police need to be more attentive and wait for the other similar case. It’s a pity that some people chose this way when they have a possibility to get Canadian payday loans no credit check even in the case of emergency.
