A man was shot multiple times near San Francisco’s Mission Dolores church early Wednesday morning, according to a police spokesman.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was walking down the street around 5 a.m. near 16th and Dolores streets, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
Two male suspects got out of a car and asked for the victim’s property, police said. The victim was uncooperative with the pair and was shot multiple times, according to police.
He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He has since come out of surgery and his condition has improved, Esparza said late this morning.
The two suspects fled in a car and have not been caught, Esparza said.
