Police arrested a man who allegedly groped a woman while riding by her on his bicycle in San Leandro on Monday morning, police said today.
The victim was walking in the 14400 block of Washington Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Monday when Naser Ahmid Hatim, 23, approached her on his bike, police said.
Hatim allegedly touched her inappropriately and then fled, according to police.
The victim immediately reported the incident and an officer located Hatim riding his bike on Halcyon Drive.
Police arrested Hatim on suspicion of sexual battery, police said.
