Firefighters brought a two-alarm blaze that damaged two residences in San Francisco’s Twin Peaks neighborhood under control this afternoon, a fire department spokeswoman said.
The fire was reported at 3:07 p.m. at 439 Corbett Ave., a three-story building with a stairwell from the street level to the third floor, fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
The stairwell was on fire and flames were found in the walls of the top two floors of the building. The flames impacted at least two units in the building, Talmadge said.
A neighboring residence was also damaged in the blaze, she said. The fire was under control at 4:12 p.m., Talmadge said.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the fire and its cause remains under investigation, Talmadge said.
