A teenage girl and a man were killed and two others were wounded in two separate shootings in East Oakland Saturday night, police said Sunday.
The first shooting occurred around 10:25 p.m. near the intersection of 82nd Avenue and A Street, according to police.
Police said emergency responders arrived to find three people wounded in the shooting, two men and a female believed to be 15 years old.
The girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The two men were taken to an area hospital.Information about their condition was not immediately available.
Police said officers responded to a second fatal shooting near the intersection of 48th Avenue and Foothill Boulevard around 11:50 p.m.
A man struck by the gunfire succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspects have been arrested in connection with either shooting.
