Domino’s worker delivers beatdown to armed robber

A Domino’s Pizza employee detained an armed juvenile suspect who attempted to rob the pizza parlor early Thursday morning in Fremont, police said.

At 12:08 a.m. on Thursday, an employee at Domino’s Pizza called police reporting that the store had been robbed at gunpoint and that the suspect was still in the store fighting with another Domino’s employee, police said.

Officers arrived at the restaurant and found that the victim employee had disarmed the suspect and beaten the suspect into submission, according to police.

A police investigation revealed that the suspect had held a .22 caliber revolver to the head of both Domino’s Pizza employees and pocket checked them.

Police said the suspect was waiting on the timer to the store safe to open when the employee fought back and detained him until police arrived. The suspect was medically cleared before being transported to juvenile hall, police said.
