What a difference 70 seconds seconds can make.

In the third period Wednesday night, the Bulls saw the Condors flip a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 lead with three swift goals to seal San Francisco’s fate. A late Bakersfield empty-netter capped the 5-2 Bulls loss.

Bakersfield’s Joel Broda scored the go-ahead and an insurance goal 33 seconds apart against Bulls goaltender Tyler Beskorowany in the third period to take the lead.

Broda would also pick up an assist on a first period Condor goal by Jordan Knackstedt to open the scoring.

In his second game with San Francisco, Adrian Foster responded with a his first goal and a trio of penalties, including a dust-up with Bakersfield goalie Tyler Bunz that also earned Dean Ouellet and Knackstedt 10-minute misconducts.

Tyler Gron scored his third goal in two games to put the Bulls up 2-1 before the Condor flurry turned the game around.

Knackstedt was credited with the empty net goal to give him a Condors-leading six goals on the season.

Beskorowany made 22 of 26 saves in a losing effort, while Bunz stopped 25 of 27 Bulls shots to pick up his first win of the 2013-14 campaign.

The Bulls head to Utah this weekend for a series with the Grizzlies before visits to Ontario and Las Vegas next weekend. They return to the Cow Palace Friday, Dec. 13 against the Ontario Reign.
