The San Francisco Bulls continue to add to their roster this week as they move ever closer to their November 8 home opener.
San Francisco’s pro hockey club mixed old with new in this week’s three rookie signings.
Forward Paul Chiasson joins the team, while Brett Findlay and Nick Czinder return to the Bulls after brief stints with the team at the tail end of last season.
Toronto native Chiasson is entering his first year of professional hockey. The 23-year-old winger registered 109 points (55 goals, 54 assists) in 151 games over four years at Mercyhurst College.
Findlay returns to San Francisco after playing at the end of the 2012-2013 season and in four playoff games with the Bulls. The 20-year-old totaled three assists in six regular season games and two assists in the five playoff games against the Alaska Aces.
Before the ECHL, the Echo Bay, Ontario native played for the Peterborough Petes in the OHL, tallying 46 points (19 goals, 27 assists) in 68 games.
Bulls fans should remember Nick Czinder not only for his massive size —6-foot-5, 240 pounds — and signature blond locks flowing from underneath his helmet, but also for his in-game contributions and presence on the ice.
The 21-year-old Thor look-alike registered three points (2 goals, 1 assist) in six regular season games in San Francisco following his final season with Peterborough where he totaled 32 points (13 goals, 19 assists) in 57 games.
