A female carjacker packing a stun gun is not the typical type of suspect police look for. But that’s a description of a person wanted by Union City police.
A police spokesman says the woman they’re looking for walked up to the passenger side of a stopped car around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, opened the door and threw some sort of liquid on the man behind the wheel of the car.
Police say the woman then used a stun gun to shock the man. He jumped out of the car and ran. The woman then got into the car and drove off with it.
The car was later recovered a short distance away.
Police described the suspect they’re looking for as a black female in her mid-20s, approximately 5-foot-8 inches tall with a heavy build.
The carjacking victim was not seriously hurt.
