SF Bulls hockey returns to the Cow Palace with a pair of pre-season games on Oct. 10 and 12.
The San Francisco Bulls regular season home opener against the Bakersfield Condors isn’t until November 8, but fans don’t have to wait that long to cheer on The City’s resident hockey team at the Cow Palace.
The Bulls have announced via press release two pre-season contests on home ice. The aptly titled “Clash of California” will have the Bulls host the Condors on Thursday, October 10 and the Stockton Thunder on Saturday, October 12.
Bulls president and head coach Pat Curcio said via press release:
“Pre-season games are a great opportunity for players to show us what they’ve got. … We hope our fans will come out in mass to support the team against Stockton and Bakersfield.”
During their freshman season, the Bulls beat out the Condors for a spot in the Kelly Cup Playoff run, going 7-4-0-1 when facing the team during the regular season.
San Francisco went 6-5-0-2 against the tough Stockton team, while also creating a new school NorCal rivalry that spawned on-ice fights and a quirky TV ad campaign.
The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:30 p.m. for both pre-season home tilts. General admission tickets for all games are set at $12.
