Authorities are seeking the public's help to locate 48-year-old Ara Ghorgyi Ward of San Mateo.
Authorities are appealing to the public for any information about a San Mateo woman who disappeared from Montara State Beach last week.
Sheriff’s officials say Ara Ghorgyi Ward and her boyfriend went to the beach last Wednesday evening, and both fell asleep on the beach.
The boyfriend told officials when he woke up the next morning, the 48-year-old Ward had disappeared. Park rangers and deputies searched the beaches and cliffs of the area but found no sign of Ward.
Officials say she was last seen wearing a pink blouse, black sweat pants and no shoes. Ward is described as having brown hair, hazel eyes, standing 5 feet tall and weighing 110 pounds.
Montara State Beach is a relatively secluded beach bound by low hills to its north and south about 20 miles south of San Francisco, or about eight miles north of Half Moon Bay.
