Pacifica police seek suspect in skateboard assault

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who severely injured a driver after the two were involved in a car accident last month.
Police responded to the reported assault in Pacifica at the Fairmont Shopping Center on Hickey Boulevard April 27.
It started with a car accident between the driver and the suspect when they were driving southbound on Highway 35. After the collision the two parties exchanged information at the shopping center.
While the driver was getting documents from their glove compartment, the suspect struck the driver with a skateboard. The driver sustained several blows the head and face which caused serious injuries.
The suspect then fled the scene before officers arrived and has since not been located.
The police said the suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 17 and 23, approximately 5 feet 9 inches, with dark eyes, black hair and a slim build.
The passenger in the car is described as a female with the same age range, dark eyes, black hair and a thick build. The car was described as a blue four-door sedan.
