The team announced via Twitter on Friday that goalie Thomas Heemskerk and forward Tommy Grant are headed back to San Francisco from the Worcester Sharks of the AHL.
Prior to a call-up to San Jose to practice with the NHL Sharks, Heemskerk (13-17-3) recorded a 3.16 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage in a Bulls uniform.
On the Wednesday night game preceding the recall, he stopped 43 of 45 shots against the Alaska Aces, whom the Bulls will be facing in Anchorage next week in the first round of the ECHL playoffs.
Heemskerk is expected to join the team tomorrow.
