With only a couple of regular season games left, the San Francisco Bulls are gearing up for a post-season run. And in doing so, they are bringing a familiar face back to the Cow Palace.
Topping off the excitement over a first-year playoff run — and the addition of an even larger beer garden for the post-season — the Bulls announced via Twitter Monday the return of forward Kris Belan to San Francisco.
Belan received his first AHL call-up at the end of February to the Manchester Monarchs. Prior to the call-up, No. 43 scored 20 points (8 goals, 12 assists) with the Bulls and led the team with 130 penalty minutes.
Belan recorded one assist and seven penalty minutes while in Manchester.
In addition, the Bulls announced forward Tommy Grant was reassigned to the Worcester Sharks. Grant tallied five points in four games with the Bulls since being assigned to the team on March 11 from the AHL.
