Jerold Chinn joins SFBay as transpor­tation editor

SFBay is pumped to announce that Jerold Chinn is joining our staff as transportation editor, effective immediately.

Chinn, a San Francisco native, joins SFBay after covering transit and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency for the SF Public Press since 2010. He has also reported on Muni for his personal blog, The Daily Dose.

Prior to joining the Public Press, Chinn wrote for the San Jose Mercury News, Oakland Tribune and San Mateo County Times. Chinn is a graduate of SF State University, where he served as breaking news editor for the Golden Gate Xpress.
