A Muni passenger was stabbed in the neck with a pair of scissors Saturday afternoon after intervening in an argument between another rider and the bus driver.
The incident occurred on the 6-Parnassus around 3:30 p.m., as it headed outbound through Civic Center near Market and Hayes streets.
San Francisco police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said the victim tried to calm down the suspect, who was harassing the bus driver over an unspecified dispute.
The victim survived the incident with superficial injuries, and no one else was hurt. The suspect is currently in police custody.
