A Bay Area mom is reaching out to the online community to help find her son who went missing last week.
Deborah Berlingeri created a webpage and filed a missing person report after her son Evan Flannery was last seen Tuesday in the Mission District. The worried mom has also taken to Facebook and Twitter to help locate her 22-year-old missing son.
According to the website HelpFindEvan.com, Flannery was last seen walking through the Mission to meet “a stranger from a social phone app contact.” The page also says it is out-of-character for Flannery to disappear, and that “he has no money and his phone has died.”
SFist reports that when Berlingeri filed a missing person’s report for her son, the officer responded with “Do you have any idea how many missing person reports we took today?’ ”
Anyone with knowledge of Flannery’s whereabouts, or thinks they might have seen him since the 19th has been asked to contact the San Francisco Police Missing Persons Department. Berlingeri asks that the link to the website be shared in an effort to find her son quickly and safely.
