Principal accused of more bad behavior

An elementary school principal recently accused of harshly punishing students is in hot water again.

Sheila Sammon Milosky, Bernal Heights’ Paul Revere PK-8 school chief, is accused of striking a Hyundai Tucson and a Lincoln Town Car south of the Golden Gate Bridge toll booth with her 2011 Dodge Avenger on May 12.

According to CHP, Milosky did not stop but was pulled over at Vista Point north of the bridge. Her bad behavior did not stop there. She also allegedly failed a sobriety test.

She is expected to be arraigned May 29 on three misdemeanor charges, according to Assistant District Attorney Alex Bastian.

Milosky told the Examiner that she was advised not to give the details of the case.

The  San Francisco Unified School District is aware of the arrest, according to spokeswoman Gentle Blythe, but will most likely not fire Milosky:

“This incident occurred on a weekend and is unrelated to school activities. If she is convicted, by California law, a misdemeanor conviction in itself is not grounds for termination.”

Milosky was hired to oversee federally mandated reforms at Paul Revere in 2010. Parents later accused her of employing corporal punishment.

This includes physical punishment and severe bathroom restrictions, as well as silent lunches and recesses held in the school’s basement.

Others say her tactics are working just fine.

Milosky said she will remain dedicated to working hard as a principal and praised her staff.
