Amy Sedaris to visit Mission’s Roxie

Cheeky actress/comedienne and fabulous dresser Amy Sedaris will bring the fun in “fundraiser” at this year’s Roxie Theatre benefit on Dec. 4. Sedaris will discuss her 2010 D.I.Y. bible “Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People,” participate in an audience Q&A, craft and sign all your three seasons of your “Strangers with Candy” DVDs.

Before the $100 ticket price scares you away, keep in mind the two-hour event will include an open bar, gift bags and nibbles. A portion of the ticket value will also be tax-deductible, as The Roxie is a non-profit.

The event is listed on The Roxie’s Website as “NR”, but if we know Amy, there will be plenty of adult themes and weed references. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
